Purpose of this notice

This notice explains what happens to personal information you choose to share when you visit www.gamzeerzin.nl, use the contact form, or contact me by email. It also explains the choices and rights available to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG).

Information you choose to send me

If you use the contact form or send an email, I may receive the details you include, such as your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message. I use that information to understand your request, reply to you and, where relevant, arrange the information or appointment you have asked for.

You are not required to use the form. If you do not provide enough contact information, however, I may be unable to respond to your request.

If we later agree to work together

The website itself is not used to create or store counselling case notes or client files. If a counselling relationship begins, any records needed for that service are kept separately from the website in a protected environment. Those records are handled and retained in accordance with the legal and professional requirements that apply to the service and the type of record concerned.

Why I may process personal data

Depending on the situation, I process personal data because it is necessary to respond to an enquiry or take steps connected with a requested service, because it is needed for the performance of an agreement, because I have a legitimate interest in managing professional correspondence, because a legal or administrative obligation applies, or because you have given consent for a specific purpose.

How long information is kept

Messages and contact details received through the website are kept only for as long as they are reasonably needed to deal with your request and any related follow-up. When they are no longer needed, they are deleted securely. Records created after a service relationship starts are kept separately and follow the retention rules applicable to those records.

Cookies and basic website functions

The website may use a limited number of cookies or similar technical functions that support normal operation and user experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect parts of the website. If analytics or other non-essential tracking tools are introduced later, this notice will be updated and consent will be requested where the law requires it.

How I protect information

Updates to this notice

I may revise this Privacy Policy when legal requirements, website functions or working arrangements change. The current version will be published on this page together with its revision date.
